Research

Since its inception in 2006 the Buddhist Heritage Project has focussed on research projects that have developed into resources of international importance.

Commencing with the Buddhist Archive of Photography, and expanding now into research into manuscripts, documents and Archival material from many sources, the collections and research findings of the Buddhist Archives represent the most cohesive and comprehensive existing history of Luang Prabang, its Buddhism and indeed that of the Lao nation spanning the last 170 years.
